And Srila Prabhupada said in the purport of Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 1.18.17, “Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is mainly full of the narrations of the activities of the Supreme Unlimited, and therefore it is the science of bhakti-yoga, or the devotional service of the Lord. Thus it is para, or supreme, because although it is enriched with all knowledge and religion, it is specifically enriched with the devotional service of the Lord.”

About HH Kavichandra Swami
His Holiness Kavichandra Swami was born in the USA. He met the devotees of Lord Krishna in 1967, in Tucson Arizona. For some years he helped to manage the Radha-Damodara group, a sankirtana group that traveled around America distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books. By then he was known as a very good book distributor. He continues distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books to this day. In November of 1981, he went to Japan and started book distribution and Harinama programs there. He did the first Christmas marathon there by himself. In 1982, Kavichandra Swami took sanyasa and was made the temple president of Tokyo, where he spent many years preaching. He currently travels around the world giving his association and offering his services. His direct responsibilities include some countries in Africa, Japan and Indonesia. He also serves as an initiating spiritual master for the society.
